Galon is my absolute favourite character, but I also have a soft spot for Rythos.

So far I’m seeing quite a lot of similarity to the Red Queen series by Victoria Aveyard, especially in terms of the magic/non magic aspect, the magic itself, the competition, and the main female character.
I have to say, Aveyard did it better.
