mom lent me this months ago and i said i'd return it at thanksgiving... finally starting it now lol

taking everything in me to put this on pause for the night

lol'ed when Brad asked "What's in the box?" bc i do indeed auto-quote brad pitt in "Se7en" every time i see a box.

haven't actually picked this up in a minute so idk what page i'm on BUT i had a long day at work and deadass thought to myself "wow my frontal cortex's disproportionately high metabolic activity, compounded by the high cognitive load i've endured today, is contributing to why i feel hungry right now" so anyways thats how i know that deep down i rock w this book. lowkey excited for the less science-y chapters tho

slaving away in the lab's annex for most of the day so started listening to this audiobook to entertain myself and i'm fckn h00ked

today this book taught me the word "apparatchik" and i am really excited to start overusing it

started this one on my lunch break which is problematic bc now i'm more interested in this book than in doing my job💀

similar vibes as the 1986 movie "stand by me" if you've ever seen that... i just adore all the characters they are so endearing:)
