I’m struggling to connect with this one. I only wanted to read it right now because I want to see Miles Heizer in the movie. Maybe if I had been craving a romance, or maybe if this was my first Emily Henry book. Right now it feels familiar and a little uninteresting

I just started chapter 3, but so far I’m really impressed by the world building and writing overall

Jesus, I need to start rereading the summaries before starting new books. I was not expecting such a brutal beginning

Am I supposed to like Heathcliff or Catherine? lol I like Nelly.

I’m looking for a queer story that isn’t about coming out or being accepted into society. Anyone know of one?

The Brontë books are challenging when you read them, but Audiobook may be even harder. I can’t reread so easily when I realize my attention was lost or don’t know a word.

I’m glad that I don’t relate to this book very much lol I came out as bi at age 26 or 27. I never had an older man thing. I know this is a cannon event for a lot of young gay men. My heart goes out to you. Such a challenging time of life for anyone to be romantically involved with someone who has a prefrontal cortex.

It took a very long time for me to care about any of the characters. Probably until I reached 75% finished. Now that I’m getting down to the final bits, I’m actually enjoying it
