The writing style is a little hard to follow at times. Might be because of the audiobook format, possibly the narrator’s fault. I can zone out too easily. I’m always going back a minute or two and re-reading

Not really sure where this story is going. So far it’s mostly been about a young teen boy who’s been trying to pick out an older man to be his lover for his youth. Young men don’t marry until they are older and have made their wealth.

A lot of people complained this book doesn’t have enough zombies, but I disagree. Maybe a few more encounters with undead would be good, but the issue with this book isn’t a lack of enemies or thrill.
