death and the compass!!!

Tlön, Uqbar, Orbis Tertius; Pierre Menard, and the Circular Ruins is kinda insane

turtle's pace but this is the most enjoyment i've had reading because the world building is just so vast and complex

absolutely heartrending grief 3.

started this because i could not sleep and now i can't sleep for a different reason

sa higit tatlong dekada na mula noong nailimbag, lulan pa rin ng galak at pagkasawi ang bawat panandalian ng pagsasama natin sa siyudad. madalas kaysa sa hindi, nagkukulang at napapawi ng oras.

finals *month* happened in university, and a lot of things has gone by since i last read this, so some notes:
- rest in peace, tony perez, i still haven't had the time to process that yet :[
- i had a dream i owned the book physically and now i'm searching every crevice online to get it
- i was not prepared for Kirot at 3 in the early morning, that chapter stung

really enjoying this so far, just finished the First Trip earlier

maybe i'm just easily entranced by vivid descriptions of topographies and geographic locations from certain time periods, especially ones that i come across in my own daily life, but it's just so good i can get lost in the world so easily. and +++ points bc i had similar experiences going out at night in cubao before 🌃
