It was fun at first, but I think it's taking too long and is just being dragged out. A lot of the story is just so random. The love triangle is unnecessary. And Aleksey is obviously a bad guy

I don't know what it was about. It feels like there was no conclusion and that it was cut halfway through the story. 1.5 stars⭐️✨️

This is not what I thought it would be at all. I'm not entertained, and I'm halfway in. The narrator is a self-professed liar. I'm assuming we're getting to the point of why she ended up in the asylum, but my interest is barely piqued. Maybe I will change my mind in about 20%? I hope

Honestly, I just want to be done with this book. I'm not really enjoying it. The characters are just meh and the mystery/horror part of it is not interesting.

Emily really makes a lot of silly decisions. I guess for the sake of plot, they always work out for her in the end. But she is somehow always choosing trouble .

I like Emily but I miss Wendell. Ariadne is just there, to be honest.

I enjoy Emily and Wendell's banter. He's such a softie and she is such an awkward person. She's in denial about her feelings and he is so forward with his, but she tries to brush it off as "joking". Their dynamic makes me laugh (in a good way), especially since his proposal.
