It’s compelling so far; I like the writing style and the character of Enid, though I’m not sure how it makes me feel emotionally.

I’ve actually been reading this in more chunks but kept forgetting to update. Anyway I’m enjoying it, but it’s a bit of a slower pace compared to some of the other things I’ve been reading lately, so it’s taking me longer to get through.

This is such a good read (no pun intended) for me! I feel so seen (some specific things are a bit too relatable 😅) and I’m just gliding right through it. I already know I’m going to be sad when I’ve finished the book!

I’m liking it so far! It’s a nice easy read, reminds me a lot of The Extraordinaries by TJ Klune :)

I had a lot of fun reading the names of the tributes and figuring out how they related to the districts! Especially for the districts I forgot the themes for, it was like a little puzzle! ALSO THE GASP I GUSPED AT THE END OF PART 1!!! I kept reading a bit further to see what was going on, but I’ve gotta go to bed now so that I can wake up, be productive, and reward myself with more reading tomorrow!

Ooh PLOT TWIST okay!!! I was not expecting that other kid to be called first…anyway also I totally called it that Burdock was Katniss’s dad as soon as the singing was mentioned, and I’m loving all of the other little character connections as well that I am too tired to list here right now (I stayed up later than I should’ve in order to read)!

I hope to read more in the new year (my goal is just for books for fun, not school books too like last year)! Anyway I guess this is a fitting book to read on a day where I have to go to a funeral…

Did the math and I’m approximately 11.55% done 😅

Listened to the first 4 chapters of the audiobook and it’s not bad! I was worried I wouldn’t have the attention span to get into it, especially in audio format, but it isn’t super complicated so far.

I’m really getting into it now! It helps to read with a cup of tea on a rainy morning!

Guess I haven’t updated in a while! I’m liking it more now that I’m getting more familiar with the rules of the world as Wallace discovers them himself.

It’s a stormy day, I had tea, and I got to read a bit!

I keep forgetting to update my progress! Anyway, I’m not sure if I like the book or not, but it’s interesting I guess. It feels kinda like a book I’d be assigned in school, in a weird sort of way.

I don’t know how I feel about the writing style. It’s kind of funny (get it?), though, because I’m also reading the Be More Chill book by the same author!

Coincidentally, I was reading this while drinking tea of my own!

I’m still very confused about everything going on with TK/Nick’s mom, and I suppose it’s doing a good job of keeping me wanting more, but it’s kinda frustrating not knowing what’s happening!

I’m having so much fun reading this! I also liked the reference to The Guardian (aka Nick’s mom, which was a suspicion all but confirmed by his dad later stumbling over that word) wearing a cerulean blue costume, since this author also wrote The House on the Cerulean Sea!

I started it last night and I’m so happy to be getting back into reading! I’m hoping I can use this to refocus my brain a bit.

Still struggling to get immersed, kinda like The Kill Order. I like Isaac’s POV sections, though!
