Mindless listen. Not necessarily a bad thing!

Slowly losing its novelty - hoping the action picks up again soon. It had such a strong beginning, and exposition is necessary, but I’m wondering exactly where this is going to go.

Potentially unpopular opinion: this feels really, really good. Hoping it doesn’t drop off.

Kind of just want to savor it. Reads like a perfect manuscript for a limited TV series (just so we can expand on the lore)

Honestly, the premise of this book isn’t groundbreaking. It’s all about human connection and how your background influences you. But when set in a period of unrest and written beautifully, it’s near-impossible to put down.

Now how is this book going to break my heart?

Once I got past the present tense, this is actually a pretty easy read. Hoping there’s a twist 😁

Super interesting as someone who doesn’t remember it - the audio does a great job capturing the day, both with actors and actual plane transmission recordings/recreations.
