MMF is not usually my vibe, but there’s a nonzero chance I’ll get to see Velle on all fours…and that’s an opportunity I just can’t pass up on in good conscience.

I sped-read through the first half of this book, but the second half is taking me a bit longer. It’s weird bc the beginning was where all the heaviest shit happened.

Ooohh Phoenix and the boys are back! That’s what we’ve been missing this entire book. I was trying to figure out why I wasn’t jiving with this one as much as the others in the series. But I get it now—I prefer the big friend groups !!!!

third act angst is what i live for idc what anyone says it is soooo engaging.

It’s definitely not gonna be a favorite, but I like Hayes and Kason enough to finish it. The pacing in the first half has been really weird and all over the place. The writing feels a bit phoned in imo, but perhaps I’m just not the biggest fan of this author’s writing style…? I’m a little sad abt it tbh bc jock x nerd is such a fun trope and I feel like this book isn’t giving what needed to be gave.
