Only a few pages in and already loving the family dynamics and drama that is brewing. I think there is some character development taking place and it will be interesting to see how the family comes together during their time of grief.

Ok I already know this will be 5 stars. Leave it to the moms to solve the mystery 😅

Oopsies did not mean to mark this one as finished, but I'm sure I will have it done in no time 😅 I have loved some of her books and not enjoyed others. This one has had me gripped from page 1 and I have no idea how anything will get resolved.

Back into my thrillers. The back and forth with this one is kind of interesting. I feel so bad for Charlotte who can't remember anything.

I know my sister will give me a hard time for updating my progress on page 23 😅 I needed a hardcover book, that would make me want to keep turning the pages. So far this one has already got me sucked in. 😍

Excited to get more into this and hopefully finish it over the next couple days. It's been a fun mystery without too many gory details.

My favorite character, Holly is what drew me into this story. Although, I'm not enjoying the political aspect of this book, there is always consistent suspense built with his stories.

Immediately sucked in. So far, it makes me glad I'm not vacationing to any cabins this summer 😅 Freda did not capture me as much as I hoped in her latest book, so I am exploring some new authors and of course still diving into my favorite storyteller, Stephen King. 🙂

This one is finally starting to pick up more. Usually I am immediately sucked into his stories, but this took a while to become a page turner. I always love seeing how his characters unfold.

The last book I read was a lot of romance and I have been excited about this one ☺️ I really enjoyed the Block Party and a few others by this author.

Wow totally saw what was coming, but still enjoying seeing the romance unfold 😅🤷

This book/story is making me very proud of all women who leave toxic situations with men, which of course includes myself. I just really hope this fictional character steps up to the life she deserves.

Stephen King wrote on the front cover to this one, "Funny and Scary," so that alone drew me to this one. I loved her book, Here One Moment, so excited to start a new one by her.

Just finished the introduction and I'm already having fun looking at the back for recipes. I have been getting really into the anti inflammatory diet and am excited to learn more about healthy living. As a massage therapist, I believe our mind, body and spirits work together. I want to understand how to prevent disease and help my cells regulate. Hopefully I can offer helpful advice to my clients too ☺️

So, it's always interesting to read about the honeymoon phase in a lovers tale. I'm immediately wondering what will go wrong? Even though the preface into this book made it quite clear that at the beginning there is a drastic turn of events. I love a suspenseful romance.

At first I was skeptical, but I am really enjoying this. I like to take breaks after intense thrillers to something more lighthearted and family oriented. This was the perfect next read. 🙂

So apparently this was the first book in a series, where I actually started the second one first 😅 Despite the gruesome details in the story, I like how the women are stepping up to save the day. I'm excited for the third book to come out in August. ☺️

Taking a break from the more intense dark novels of Stephen King, even though they are my favorite. It's nice to enjoy some lighthearted suspense 😊

I think this book has been a good reminder about what can happen when we let negative thoughts take over too much. The whole concept of being hypnotized is a really strong theme in this story. I'm going to be honest and say I'm excited to be done with this one and hope the bad guy gets what's coming to him.

Still trying to make it through this one, but I don't enjoy the manipulation the super duper evil guy is using on these characters. What I like most about Stephen King is that his stories usually have redemption at the end.

Stephen King has taken a dark turn so I'm focusing more on this lighthearted novel that still has suspense as well as humor.

Ok after all of my Stephen King novels this was the lighthearted yet suspenseful read I was looking for. I'm excited to see how this Mom goes undercover and helps her family.
