Absolutely loving this so far, it hasn’t seemed to lull at any point. Placing focus on the inner dialogue of characters at the same time as the outer dialogue is really interesting and adds so much to the story

Love the way this is written so far. I’m really glad Herbert decided to use third person omniscient so we can get more than just Paul’s perspective.

The author has painstakingly detailed his own beliefs on how “gothic” the album is by delving into a history of the term gothic itself. He has also spent pages describing the kudzu on the front cover. What started off as a fairly interesting history of the album and track by track analysis has turned into what I can only describe as a desperate attempt to fill up the word count, thesaurus firmly grasped in hand.
