I enjoyed this book but the relationship development felt a little rushed after the previous two. Where every flicker of emotion was explored with Maddox and Steve, I felt like I had much less insight into Blake. His story felt a bit like an afterthought, rather than the completion of the series.

DNF at about 18%. There was just too much trauma in their backstories and while that’s sometimes what I want to read, for right now it was too much.
