Ok but seriously am I the only one who finds the writing in these scenes super cringy? They’re even worse than SJM.

The only times I actually liked Grim were when he wasn’t thinking about Isla.

I feel like it shouldn’t have taken 8 chapters into a relatively short book to actually get to the plot that’s listed as the summary.
