I see a lot of reviews complaining that the author meshes the patients visits with ‘romance’. She’s sharing and intertwining parts of her life that was happening at the same time of these visits. She constantly ties them up at the end of each chapter as well. This was a beautiful book and I cried throughout this entire thing. What a remarkable phenomenon of us seeing our loved ones at the end to take us away.
