chapter 3 was oddly religious but i liked it

it’s also laughable how he speaks about women

still trying to figure out why it’s called Anna Karenina when there are other love stories going on

chapter two is a grotesque display (literally—the rat illustration gave me the creeps) of cruelty and tyranny

chapter one had two stories about ghosts and broken promises…spooky but not spooky enough…

i love how there are bits of philosophical debates in between the love stories 🫶

i won this kindle version in a giveaway!! it’s a nice light read—one i can actually focus on when in the park
