I put this on hold on my Libby account 3+ months ago and finally had my turn come up Monday, figured I’d dig in.
I’ve ALWAYS heard great things about this book/duology.
and…. I TOTALLY GET IT
Great so far! I love the combination of themes, it’s so original to me. Storyline is laid out brilliantly so far.
I am Really enjoying this one, likely finish it tomorrow 🤪

I’m honestly digging this. No notes because I read this ahead for book club on accident 😅
Updates later, but I won’t be able to finish this until thanksgiving now 😭

I really like this book, the theme isn’t repetitive like the rest of everything coming out recently.
I like the magic style and the multiple POVs. Normally I don’t care for more than 2 POVs but I like all the characters and they actually do have noticeable differences in them making them individual in how they react and think.
Another reading slump, but I am getting back into it!!!

Interesting magic system, still really early but I’m looking forward to continue reading.
I enjoy the variety of characters and the descriptions and contrasts between them.
I am a bit worry about how many POVs there are but so far it’s working!

Good so far, nothing too expected and has kept my attention really well

I really like the way this story strings timeline through the other two books. Also enjoy the banter between the two MCs. Decent so far!

Dare I say… I saw some of these “twists” from Edric’s POV segments coming?????
I am enjoying the read so far though.
Forced Proximity really has to be Lauren’s fave trope 🤣

Hit this audiobook on my way back from Canada for work. Interesting for sure.

I have heard SOOOOO much about this series and my hold finally came in on Libby after three months of waiting. Had to give it a try!
The timeline of the book confused me a little at first? I didn’t expect there to be so many 6 months later, 1 year later etc. but I have enjoyed a decent part of this so far. I think the audiobook is why.

Barely any pages left and still so many questions 😫
Thought I’d finish this tonight but I’m so tired.
