Finished chapter 32…mmhmm now the temptation has been quenched momentarily between Mische and Asar! I’ve been waiting for those lines to be crossed

Man…Chandra was killing them, basically the innocent. I was waiting patiently for how her back story would be told.

At this point in the book, I do find myself leaning towards learning more about Asar! The chapter going through his memories was really good

I love how Mische and Asar’s closeness is growing slowly without it becoming too intimate too fast

Okay chapter 10 >>> Mische better than me cause I would’ve ran 😂 that’s too big of a bird for me to be fighting

Mische’s “quiet affection” towards Asar already is crazy but yah know that’s the way the cookie crumbles.

It’s been a long time since I read book #2 so I liked that Carissa did a small recap here and there in the first couple of chapters to remind you of what happened and why Mische the FMC is where she is

I hate to say it but…I think I need to DNF 😭 I want to move on to my next book so bad and it’s like may be I just need to come back to it after a while, but the story right now is not keeping me!

The main story is interesting but these scenes between Kadeesha and Malachi are 🫪
