Omfg. I can already tell this writing has me HOOKED, plus I’m loving all the characters so far. The character dynamic is a new one for me and super interesting (not just another Fae book). So excited to keep reading this.

Finally we’re seeing some magic scenes! But the lack of depth is notable. I don’t know anything about the characters, other than what they’re doing in each scene. I wish we got more backstory. The descriptions of the setting and plot are interesting enough to keep me reading, just overall missing some depth so far.

Okay LOVING THIS and the dual POV time period romance! It’s giving old bookshop / love story uncovered—the characters actually wrote and published a book of their love story, telling through their own eyes. The main character in the present day owns a rare bookshop and uncovers their story through old articles, only to realize these people were *real* and these books are not fiction. 📓🤌🤍
