I spent most of my time actively hating Oliver but I think we’ve turned a corner

I am enjoying this so far, but I think it is a little hard to follow at times. It seems like the storyline is a vessel to share one-off ideas Vonnegut has about the state of the world. I adore the snippets we get of his perspective, but I feel like I am going through the motions of reading the main plot line to hear what Vonnegut is thinking.
