i’m just skimming at this point

well, this is going fine. building and introducing characters. i’m curious to see where this goes. a bit slow for my liking but i’m being patience.

The way this is written, the underlying stuff that’s happening outside of Liesl’s knowledge, yet the full extent we know from Death’s perspective— is so UGH. It’s just so good, it’s so achingly good. I can’t put it down.

Penulisan yang sangat bagus, alur yang memilukan hati.

Sedihnya buku ini bergenre fiksi sejarah, namun sangat relevan dengan masa sekarang. Rasanya seperti berdarah ke dunia nyata.

I have to admit that I feel like I'm getting further away from the story. It's like I understand what's being said; it is beautiful, but I can't quite place it. I need to lock in more.

A little over chapter two now. First impression: full of semantics to the point where it’s either hitting me with emotions or confusing me. I have to re-read a few pages after finishing them because it’s too puzzling, but hey, on the bright side, I am definitely learning more English. Ocean used the language like I’ve never experienced them before.

Anyway, I am invested in the story. I’ll continue further!

Halfway through this, currently digging into Mia’s past and oooooh I am hooked! So far so good, quite an easy read and turning into an interesting page turner.

Currently on The Happy Years. I had to take a 3 days sabbatical after chapter four because what—

I just read the whole Caleb thing.
Diabolical, why is this happening, what is this plot— why am i reading this book? And then I was hit with a Harold POV right after— Hell.

Currently on chapter two— the fluid POV changes intrigued me and I knew I had to lock in to keep track. With this, I was able to digest at each characters traits even more deeply, understanding them as if they were my own friends, already making me close to the character by the first chapter.

Now reading about The Postman and I don’t know if I want to know more about him because I’m sad already.
