I can’t believe people on Reddit will try to convince you that the light novels are a waste of time.
The way Sora’s inner turmoil through his internal dialogue is built up brings the reader to understand how truly existentially terrifying the situation is. It’s very easy to be like “wow this game is silly” bc you see Goofy in it. It’s a very different story when given the space to process
