I loved this book. I could really relate to Jacob, because I also have social anxiety. Jacob is a wonderful person. So giving. So loving and caring. Briana, too, is a wonderful person. So understanding. So patient. So loving. She has dealt with loss via men walking out of her life. I’m so glad she opened her heart again and found her perfect match in Jacob.

Dawn Fields is reading Yellow Wife

Wow! What a powerful, well written story! It was a heavy read based on an enslaved woman and all the barbaric horrors she experienced, including what she witnessed. This is American history and it should be learned and discussed. This just might be my favorite book ever or at least tied with The Women by Kristin Hannah.
