i hope we get to see more of irnerio, the nonreader friend of ludmilla. he was a very fun cheshire cat character! im afraid that calvino will never show him again, simply so he can taunt the reader.

i can feel calvino laughing as he cuts off ludmilla and the MCs misadventures over and over again, leaving the reader to brute force through another passage. then, when ludmilla returns, you are disappapointed again!
