I'm pausing this book because it is obvious that these main characters have a history that I am unaware of. This may be a standalone book, however I feel I need to read the book in which they are introduced to us, The Last Dance You Saved.

Hmm. I might set this to the side. I'm not connecting to the characters. The overall plot and setting is good, but these characters are much more low key, laid back, and unsociable than I can care about.

It's important for me to note to myself that the kids in this story are talking in a manner that is way above their stated ages of 6 and 8 years old. Normal children of this age do not talk, reason, and communicate at this level. Let's pretend these kids are 10 and 12, then it's believable.

This has been on my TBR for more than 7 years! I'm hoping it was worth the wait. 😁

I'd love to finish reading this, but the book keeps crashing my Kindle app (on 2 different devices). Returned the book to Amazon and filed a report.

I've read the first couple of stories and I'm struggling. By only reading the 'good parts', the chemistry and emotions are missing, thus making them flat. I can't seem to care.

Ugh. I just don't know if I can finish this book. It's doing nothing but aggravating me. It's not the age difference, it's everything else. If I had to rate it right now, it'd get 2 stars.

10%: Apparently Dalton and Katie have already been messing around and have some kind of "relationship"? Did that happen in book 1 of this series? I don't remember what I read a year ago! Grrrr. Frustrated already.

I've read 5 of the stories. But I think I'm going to set this to the side for a while. This is a good filler if you don't have anything else to read, but the individual stories aren't doing much for me.

I'm a little irritated with Kyra right now. I'm continually surprised at how quick she is to jump to the wrong conclusion.

According to my Goodreads Reading Challenge ticker, I've read 340 books this year. I guess that explains why nothing ever gets done around here. :)
