Absolute banger.

Just kidding, rhythm is kinda slow but I’m sure it’s going to pay off. The story is quite unique and I love the fact that The Glass Bead Game is set in a future that has turned its back on technology, and chooses a simple, timeless, archaic and monastic scholarly order to pursue pure intellectual exploration. Still more than 50% of the book to read so things are going to change for sure.

Done reading the first chapter after the long dry introduction. That sheeettt is interesting af already and makes you think a lot. Maybe I’m just dumb and my brain is atrophied from all these years consuming useless information like in the age of the feuilleton lmao but the whole connection between different disciplines starts to make sense like new parts of my brain open? Probably I’m just dumb

Introduction chapter made me wanna die, first chapter gets things going, I like it so far. It’s my favorite book after all !
