Madonna in a Fur Coat has me surprised. I was not expecting to be this hooked and intrigued. The male friendship in the first 48 pages is heartbreaking despite so little 'happening'. Being inside the POV we're given in this bit is so real; his thoughts become yours and you too start seeing Raif as this sad, lonely, abused man who is clearly hiding some skeletons in the closet and you long to find out more about him.
