The FMC inner monologue it’s getting a little long

Ok the struggle bus with this one

I wish I would’ve read this in order of events not in writing order. I was so confused until I realized this is a prequel.

4.5 stars I liked this one better than book 1

I don’t find the FMC very likable, which is making me struggle with this read

It was good, I enjoy the single father trope, I listened to the audiobook on Hoopla

I love audiobooks and exclusively listen to audiobooks on Libby, hoopla and audible.

7 hrs of listening so far and not much as happened…. It feels dragged out

Okay I DNFed at 68%, it’s just too mundane, and it doesn’t address the big elephant in the room. The whole synopsis of the book is that the hero leaves after heroine gets into a car accident, for 3 books this has been talked about, and here I am more than halfway through the book and I still don’t know why he left her.

3.5- I do love the nanny trope, the spicy scenes were not that intense spice level here is a little lower, if you are really into that you might be a little disappointed. I love the interaction with the boys so sweet

It’s finally getting good 14 hours in!!

Im on the struggle bus trying to finish this book.

Im at 46% into the book, that’s 8hrs of listening, and it just feels extremely wordy and dragged out … I really want to skip through to get to the good parts because it’s so so so slow.

The plot came back for the last 2 hrs in the book. However, I still don’t think I’ll be continuing the series.
I listen to this book as a duet narration in audio format, which was enjoyable for the most part. I would say this is a 2.5 star for me.
