i appreciate that this is trying to get information across in a straightforward and accessible way. my hometown had zoning laws on their ballot last election after Amazon HQ opened downtown & property value skyrocketed. the question being posed was really “are we ok making our town unlivable for teachers and firefighters and anyone who doesn’t own a home already?” the answer was yeah, fuck ‘em.
