I literally just reviewed Empire of Storms and said I appreciated Chaols absence bc he was boring me……and now I find out this whole book is abt him…….

I actually love James Franco as a narrator😭

I have to DNF :/ I just don’t look forward to listening to this any more and I have plenty of other holds ready on Libby that I’m more excited about. I may pick this back up as a hard copy and see if I’m more interested in it then!

May have to DNF😭 Almost 3 hours in and nothinggggg is happening. Feels more like a character study than a thriller

I put Crown of Midnight on hold about halfway through to read this one bc so many reviews said that reading this third made it hard to get into and I didn’t wanna make the same mistake! By the time I found out this was a prequel, I had already started the sequel :/
