I'm gonna be happy if I don't get a happy ending. I don't know why I want this book to end badly.

I love how dark it is. Nothing is free. Very Gothic. Can't wait to see the full extent of her magic.

She seems very oblivious to her ability and I wish she'd get with it but 🤷🏻‍♀️ sass is still great.

She's very sassy in her head. I wish I got a little more of the guys' perspective. They're pretty funny

I like Mirellas timeline and Olive's so far. She has not met Glaspar yet.

I've seen a movie like this lol and I really liked the movie lol funny

I watched the movie before reading the book so I've got preselected characters playing the roles in my head and I've gotta say, the actors did the book justice so far. Got a bit to go so I'm remaining optimistic.

I actually LOL'ed on the train this morning and I just started. I hope it's a good one lol

She started off strong and I love her sass. I understand the need to avenge her friend. Her ignorance is getting a little annoying now and i hope she don't get none from homie.

She's ranked as one of my least favorite FMC's I've ever read.

It's her lack of questioning of things that she should OBVIOUSLY question, like after a comment made about her by men and accepting the first answer that is an obvious misdirection that's kind of annoying me. But her age was just revealed and now everything makes sense why she's so incredibly male centered. Low key feels like she's got BD and same sis lol.

I'm going to finish this book but it's pissing me off. I hate when the FMC is all bark and when she has the power to fight, her cognitive dissonance wins over and self preservation denies what her eyes can clearly see. She's got this temper and defiance when it suits her and holds tight to her hypocrisy when confronted by her boy. Coward and pathetic.
