i adore fiction that depicts the fae folk as both vicious and beautiful. nowadays i feel many authors focus on their attractiveness, often overlooking the contrast between their stunning appearance and rotten nature beneath.

though i despise love triangles, i can't say anything against them when the protagonist knows who she loves and chooses him without wavering. and even the one left behind is treated with respect—his feelings acknowledged, his past with her meaningful, not erased. most authors nowadays COULD NEVER.

gotta adore my fave characters suffering endlessly, i guess.

omar is actually among the most wholesome characters AND he possesses an actual capacity for thinking, which i always appreciate.
