Less than 100 pages in and I already detest it. The father is a douche bag. Those who reviewed it and said the story is "so touching" and "emotional", I hope you have a good reason for why the dad left his family to then want a relationship with his daughter at the age of 17. That being said, a lot of it is completely unrealistic which is what is pissing me off. I'm reading until halfway and making a decision.

So far I'm loving this story and the characters. I'm really hoping it becomes a book series!

I hope it gets better. I'm really trying to push through this. Also, apparently in this "small town" near Chicago everyone knows everyone. I highly doubt that. Also, too many characters are mentioned that I cant keep track of, and there's too much going on.

Makes me want to snuggle up near a fireplace with a cup of hot chocolate.

So far, I'm really enjoying it. It makes me feel like I'm residing near the plains in Kenya.

Dude. It's been 20 years. Let her go, man. I think it's time to move on.
