I’m so not excited for all the new characters here. And I feel so miserably said for Chaol.

Am I crazy? 🫪 I can’t remember what page I was on this morning, I think 403?.. I am in awe of myself. Also I can’t believe everything that’s coming to a head right now. The last hundred pages am I right?

Also we are back on our action shit and I’m loving it. Maybe I can love series’ that keep things focused on things other than romance sometimes. I hope the next two books are full of action and adventure and shock. The last instillation was sooooo flashy with all of that, and this one can be at times, but there’s a lot of budding romances and that’s okay. It’s just so new here. And the smut??

Okay I’m headed at full steam ahead towards the finish line

I keep thinking I’m almost done but then I have almost 300pgs left 🫪

Okay.. I’m listening but I am judging a little bit. No smut until now and it happens right after one of your only court members almost dies defending you and your man’s cadre… I was almost enjoying the tension more than the actual act. It’s just me probably, but this book feels rushed just to get to this point and I’m not sure smut was what was needed right then. I digress tho cause I’m not an author 🫪

Well I’m a little more confused in this one butttt I will say it’s just because there is so much lore. It’s still holding my attention and I’m sure it’ll all make sense soon!

Sliding right on through to the next, I can’t wait to see what this installment has. I hope our world has some storyline collisions again, that was what kept me so invested in the last book. 2,200 more pages in the series approximately, and I’d like to finish these and a few more before we’re back into winter!!

Holy cow I didn’t know I could be interested for near 500 pages…

Okay so this book is huge and I’m intimidated but it’s so good. I think the worldbuilding is some of the literal best I’ve ever seen in this series. Halfway done, and I’m scared and excited and sooo intimidated still 🥹

I have so many questions, first of all, had this author ever written anything in their life? Spelling mishaps, names spelt wrong, weird vocab, weird situations, and lack luster descriptions litter this book- but… the mmc sounds hot.. pfft. Also we know how I feel about dnfing a book once I’m past 50%…

I’m concerned

I’m hoping to get some time alone with this book soon a I can diveeee on in!! I missed this universe but the break was needed to get back in the groove of things I think!

Nothing remarkable compared to the authors other works so far.

I’m getting so bored. Even if it isn’t bad it feels like mid fanfiction but with original characters at this point. I’d hate to DNF a book because I can’t afford it if I wanna meet my goals but..

It’s genuinely getting better, I just have such a hard time with old timey dialect and that’s not the authors fault. I be rereading paragraphs ten times till I understand what Rachel trying to put down all the while looking like this : 🤔
