I could see myself getting into this

This is so fun and light and perfect for me to indulge in between things. Love the writing style and the fantasy that’s easy to get lost in.

I feel the fantasy, I feel excited. I feel involved. I kind of love this so far,, and the switching POVs actually works relatively well for this author.

Already seeing the authors progress from writing their first iteration to this one.. I actually love the way it’s written and have little to no complaints!

Okay this is a fast pace- and ever quickening easy enthralling read! Hoping to finish soon as I can’t stop envisioning what will happen.

This book is disgusting. I mean.. I kinda knew that from the reviews and the cover and the genre.. but why did we have to get even grosser this close to the end? It makes everything written up to this point seem less.. grave and dark and more like an attempt to pile a bunch of horrific things into an already horrific story? It’s definitely not a normal read for me, but I’m trying to branch back out into horror?

Very very spicy start, and honestly I’m not mad. The monster lover within is so ready to see where this book takes all three established characters. I don’t think I’ll be at all disappointed. I also like this writing style. It’s comprehensible and still eloquent. UuU I love spicy books that make me feel like a freakin lady.

Im going a lil faster! I’m digging the mirroring of Aelin/Abraxos in two of the povs, which makes the switching more likeable. I think this book feels so long because I’m grieving many characters while accepting new. Also- now reading- I can’t believe Rowan is a love interest with how he treats Aelin. Trying to aide her or not- Rowan emotionally + physically destroys her repetitively. I’ll give him a chance.

This book again, is taking me forever, because it feels like three different books at once with the changing POVs. I’ve grown to accept romance is not the main theme in this series- and there are horrific elements- but when books lack both of the main genres I read I kind of teeter through. I’ve also been very busy so maybe this is just a one off lol.. just kidding as an adult I only read slow apparently. :(

Let’s get to the finish!! I am so sad it’s ending but I can’t stop devouring this when I get into it! I dislike that my reading time has been so choppy but I’m gonna return back to it like I used to.

I am disappointed how long it’s taking me to finish this- but also I’m really glad. This book is really sweet and really well written. Helps me think about things and reflect. Not all parents are created equal, but not all damage those that aren’t ready to be parents inflict lasts forever.

Okay, I always have to take breaks when I’m reading a series through so that’s exactly what I did. Even though all the new characters are making my head spin (and making me take notes) I am genuinely falling back in love with this book/series all over again after pushing through!

Mama needs to finish this book! I have so many books to readddd

I took a minor reading break and here I am back at it. I’m hoping I hit it hard for the rest of the year! I have goals to meet!

I’m confused but when am I not. This may be better than the first books I read by this author!!!

Mundane, slow but good so far.. the creepy vibes are subtle so far but we still get the nasty and dark vibes Roberts loves to bring to his works!!

So uhh.. I’m not saying this iteration of the soul books is perfect.. but as a plus size girl who struggles with depression- all of the negative reviews tear Delora down for being.. well.. a pessimist. I get it but I don’t at the same time. She does some wild ass things but- if you gave birth to a baby that tried to gut you its first moments into the world- you might too. Also! It’s all fiction! Soo…

Well I still can’t say anything bad, this book def feels more about the dramatics emotionally than the first one was, but that’s okay! I like the main character cause she’s plus sized and.. not perfect. A lot more to relate to if a character isn’t perfect!

I’m really confused as to why this book has under four stars. Maybe I just vibe with the writers style- maybe I just grew up reading over dramatic fan fiction- either way I’m gonna eat these up apparently.. 🥹

I’m actually really enjoying these books! I think I might have gotten myself into another series and that sucks- but this type of romance doesn’t! Hoping the book continues this way!!!

Omg the author is writing from three different povs and it flows so freaking good! So so smutty- but not distasteful? A really interesting dynamic for a relationship.. and I’m here for it.. ;)

I’m really enjoying this so far. I find myself really craving them to cross the lovers threshold but I’m always so ready to get through the enemies/distaste stage. Plus the way the author describes Orpheus… yum..
