It’s genuinely getting better, I just have such a hard time with old timey dialect and that’s not the authors fault. I be rereading paragraphs ten times till I understand what Rachel trying to put down all the while looking like this : 🤔

I feel dumb but I think the story is good and so is the retelling aspect. Some of it feels over detailed but perhaps that is the writing style the author wanted to portray here. I’m giving it time and myself grace in my interpretations 🥹

Must finish, must continue, can’t stop reading, I love this little group so much.. Rachel Reid please stop making me care about these men when all I originally thought about was Ilya and Shane.

Might be my fav so far. Relatable, cute, and bringing back everyone from books past in subtle ways.

Okay so I’m addicted

Okay I can see where this is going and I’m suddenly awoken to the storyline 😳

Okay this is getting interesting on a few levels, I just have to question why would the author not keep vampires textbook if she kept werewolves textbook? I get keeping them closer to humans but it removes an element of fantasy I think could’ve been fun (I like escapism and this just feels.. like not that in a few ways?)

Vampyres instead of vampires is making me all flustered. Pls just say vampires Plsplspls.

Okay Rachel Reid I see you. This is very different from the first two and I enjoy seeing different relationship dynamics so openly represented amongst these characters she is responsible for creating!!

Okay, this is a little less flashy than the last two, the sex is definitely even slower burn and I’m okay with it. Our main character Ryan Price has anxiety that is comparable to the anxiety I suffer (my besties too) so it’s nice to get representation and see someone be anxious and a little depressed even when they have fame and things to look forward to. Definitely seems to be our realest main character yet.

I’m not sure about this yetttttt…

Guys I’m crying in the club, well at the cottage, but still … I cannot believe I get to witness this novel, maybe it’s just because I shop them so much already- but this is phenomenal.

I’m actually obsessed with the growth I’m seeing before my very eyes… CANT PUT IT DOWN WHENEVER I PICK IT UP!

Very good so far!! I can already see the improvements in writing and pacing!!!

It’s a little unserious at times, but I wouldn’t say it’s untrue to the show. I’ve been reading and listening to the audio book and have plowed through a good chunk in only three days so it’s not obnoxious. Sometimes it has me kicking my feet and other times it has me raising my eyebrows and giggling. I don’t have a full on opinion yet, but I’m going to keep reading!

This is cheeky and entertaining and hot. I can’t say I’m blowing through it but the holidays really kept me tied up. So let’s see how this goes from here :)
