i know shallan's trip to the plains is taking so long because she's having some character development thing going on but considering it feels like the only reason it's happening is because jasnah got killed off the fact that she's taking her sweet time getting is very weird in the narrative. it's also really annoying that she's wondered about the marriage but not how to tell jasnah's family she's dead
