Absolutely boring I couldn’t finish

She even put her own granddad in jeopardy by questioning his status. 🤢 that granddad needs to be out of that home ASAP. He needs actual help not that whatever “mother”. Poor daughter, Chloe is the only one and the granddad of course I feel bad for. That “single mother” literally needs CPS or DCF at her door. 🙄 how can she have an elderly granddad in his 90s taking care of her daughter? Lovely.

Phenomenal, single mother trope representation. When the daughter saw real dad loved it. TERRIBLE MOTHER. The very beginning, Adam never wanted the mother he only wanted the daughter just despicable. That mother would kiss his feet if he would’ve told her to. The danger she put her daughter through just so she can have a “man” is disgusting. Mother of the year award (if I can even call her 1) 🏆🥱

-well wow this creppy neighbor was the killer all along. And Lucy had a past. Her husband really is her ride or die. Hannah is really sick for blaming Joe & Joe’s mom. I hope no one figures out lucy bc she really does care about her kids & fam. But what really happened in the room with lucy and her brothers? I just realized that was left unanswered.

Wow i would probably give this 3.7? 3.5? i liked the twist about tom, i just feel really bad about him & his childhood. The twist about the grandma dies so sad. The pov about Matt wasnt to bad. And the twist about the Alice, Jenny was good too. But the end did kinda draw out but none the less all around good book happen i picked this & remembered the title even when i lost it on YouTube (smiles).

I’m just rlly done w this author I can’t remember the other 2 books I read by her but those I rated 2 or 1 star. I’m reading this a 2 star as well just bc I guessed already what “the big twist” was & I still don’t understand why the husband was w the wife of the father that “killed” his sister. Something just doesnt seem right at all since that wasn’t answered 0 stars is what I should give.

Oh something is wrong w Paul ok he has been following Cora and Gwen b4 he met them all these neighbors are messy and annoying they all know something about what is going on but they aren’t telling anything they all want to be detectives 🙄

How is Cora in jail Gwen couldn’t have children how is that… I knew it. Cora started cleaning her house. Rachael Evens cares allowance. Paul and Rachael how how this is distributed. 18 months ago how this is ridiculous. Biggest scam yet poor Gwen.

OK, this is already way too good. I think we’re in five star mode. OK because Paul is insane but then Cora somethings not right with her either. The mother died, While Cora went away for work. Never contacted anyone. People trying to look up Cora but no answer is already too good. I think Cora is lying. The mother always got Cora confused with a Margaret. And Cora always said who’s Margaret.

I want to say this is very hard to rate to start of 2025 I hate to give this a 3.5 or maybe a 3.8 bc I did like it. I wish I could give this a 4 but I even gave HIS or HERS a 4, and I know how I felt about that book. Feeney always knows how to roll the twist in. I’m very disappointed tho because I wanted this to be a 5 star though but indeed this book is not terrible at all.

The hand, Charlie’s missing book, Sandy lying about Charlie, Sandy’s involvement, Abby having a job while speaking about domestic violence, Abby loving Grady. The end of him dying really set me off because I guess the girls found out he was asking for help in the book really threw me off but still not mad none the less. Those just were my favorite parts of the book ^.

The twist of Kitty was my #1 favorite highlights of the book. I think that was very clever since I really didn’t see that coming. The whole IVF thing completely left field, the twist of Grady yea😭💁🏽‍♀️. I know exactly how I feel about that twist. I really loved him in this book, even though sometimes he did frustrate me sometimes. The motive was just to good so for that I have to give 10/10.

I cannot believe what I have just read all night. This book is very different to say the least. (movements that aren’t for me #me too, feminism, & “ABC”) This is exactly what this book gave off to me. Not saying it’s a bad thing just very different. I read books to escape not to hear this. Feeney is still my favorite author’s but this one isn’t my 5 star unfortunately. But I did love parts of the book.
