I don’t remember any of Sparks’ previous books having this much unnecessary details. I’m soo not emotionally invested in any characters, and the depiction of hunting is so false. (Jaguars aren’t even legal to hunt, let alone have one mounted in your home) and Josh’s predictability as the antagonist and propelling factor to everyone’s story intertwining with tragedy is almost appalling. In a bad way.
