like Morgan M Page, I put off reading this for a long time. to my surprise, it's wisdom is shining light on my trans femininity. the passages about stone sexuality, Jess's relationships with femmes, intimacy, fear, tenderness are rendered beautifully. some fave lines: "Things don't change back, they just keep changing", and "Since I had no words to bring the woman I loved so much, I gave her all my tenderness". oof.
