Felt emotionally ready to handle another Kristin Hannah book.

I am saddened that I have read very few of the books on the Goodreads choice awards this year. Maybe in a few years when I get through my tbr I can keep up with current books lol

Very much looking forward to catching up where the cliffhanger left me!

Giving this book a second chance since it was recommended by others.

I read this in high school and loved it, so I will see how it feels reading it again! (Libby audiobook)

This is one of the books that has been on my shelf the longest. With over 3.6 million ratings on good reads, I am curious to see what will come.

Not so good reviews, and I tried to read it once before and couldn’t get into it. We will see how this goes…

Predictions:
1-Crochans will rise&help defeat
2-Dorian will final kill Manons gma
3-Dorian, Manon, the crochans&the 13 will get the final wyrdkey
4-SJM wants us to think Dorian will sacrifice himself for lock, but that is not the purpose of this series being so focused on Aelin. It will be her to die.
5-Aedion&Lysantra will make up
6-Anielle will join Chaol
7-Lorcan redemption
8-Evangeline&Elide=big roles

I try to predict and get it wrong every time so far… Dorian and Manon gonna be a couple!? I think Manon will make herself do ”yielding” to save them all, sacrificing her life either to save Dorian or the 13, who I hope are not dead as the one Ilken talked about her 2nd being dead but I hope she’s not.

Ashley is feeling very behind as she hasn’t finished a book in over a month. Meanwhile, my book sisters continue to complete books at a rapid pace. Sad face.

Manon better be in this book.

Sooo I saw a spoiler about The Thirteen and I assumed they were made up of a band of 13 brave souls who overthrow the king and end Avery. BUT now I learn The Thirteen is Manons iron teeth black beak clan… ?? And who is the crazy stalker healer lady? Do we trust her?
