Still excited, though I’ve realized a man wrote this—and it’s a love story. My expectations are… cautious.

Men rarely grasp the enormity of love, how it becomes the axis everything else spins around. But I’ve learned it’s the only thing worth believing in. Real love—is the only thing in this world that carries any weight at all.

I started this to scratch my age-gap itch, but I’m already considering a DNF. The FMC names her lady parts after Friends characters (plural, unfortunately), and that was my breaking point. Why do so many books like this confuse over-the-top raunchiness with personality? It’s less sexy, more secondhand embarrassment. Alas, I shall persevere.
