Took a while to get through Caligula, the ye ol setting is always a bit boring to me because the characters are always so redundant it’s hard for there to be a strong sense of individuality. But the character of Caligula was certainly an interesting take on a tyrant, even if the cast around him fell into tropes.

Still lagging a bit with the time jumps and dialogue format but this is a pretty bittersweet read that I’m enjoying so far!
