This fucking guy Pytor Petrovich is pissing me off so much I hope Rodya kills him too 😤

Porfiry is definitely onto him

So poor Raz doesn’t think he’s worth of Raskolnikov’s sis because he’s a broke fella? 😭😭😭

I quite like Razhumikhin’s POV. Funny chap

‘We’ve got accustomed to making do with other people’s intelligence — we’re soaked in it’ - Razhumikhin dropping BARS

‘Talk nonsense to me, by all means, but do it with your own brains! To talk nonsense in one’s own way is almost better than to talk a truth that’s someone else’s; in the first instance you behave like a human being, while in the second you are merely being a parrot’ - Razumikhin

The irony of the cop asking Raskolnikov how he would’ve committed the murder if it was him LOL my guy Zamyotov had no clue… or does he?

Can I actually trust what Raskolnikov is seeing and hearing from now on? Or is he in some state of delusion?

He actually hallucinated hearing his landlady get beaten up, clearly getting sicker by the day. Which can be connected to the illness he mentioned criminals tend to experience after a crime. Because his mind is spiraling out of control, his body is following suit

After killing both ladies clearly his sense of logic went out the window I guess? He’s not thinking clearly and it’s getting paranoid. Which thinking back when he asked if the illness caused the crime or the crime caused the illness, I argue it might be the second option. Even while fighting it, he can’t think logically at the moment

So going into this he had the perception that it might be justifiable to kill someone for the greater good. Raskolnikov also debates that criminals tend to have an “illness” after (or possible before) committing a crime where they lose all sense of will and reasoning, which basically they get too sloppy and lose sense of logic, making mistakes and getting caught. Sometime he swears he wouldn’t do
