I think I hate this. Very unsympathetic characters all around.

Can't wait to finish this. It's so scary and spooky and creepy and psychological, I cannot put it down. The narrative elements of the morse code sprinkled throughout and the cryptic chapters bringing in seemingly disparate events and notes are so well done.

holy cow this is so good so far. the prologue is a gut punch to all illusions about this country's creation story. after just the prologue i had to sit for a bit (like Spongebob sitting in that diner after he lost his identity) and digest the hard truths that this author dropped.
I'm already attached to all of the characters he brought to life just 100 pages into it. Obsessed.
