Holy calculated 👀 this is an insane story with insane characters. Honestly may be one of my favorite books to ever read.

Feels like everyone is scheming/has ulterior motives. The story has such a great rhythm to it - it’s keeping me utterly hooked!!

Obviously a little hard to understand and interpret. Having to take it a little slower than normal to ensure I’m capturing everything, but I am immediately hooked. The way the story builds and the characters are described is riveting - I am looking forward to reading more tonight 🥹

Chugging toward the end, but coming across some beautiful moments and quotes: “Like even when something beautiful breaks, the making of it still matters.” (360) “She ran because she’s scared that, in the end, she won’t be worth chasing.” (352)
