A little preface: I am reading this for my capstone research paper on the dark romance genre and effect it has on women’s relationships and expectations.

Really, REALLY didn’t like how she talked about her depression and how he reacted to it

Ok so one man says something to you one time and suddenly it “reveals what was buried deep inside of” your soul? You find an exposing truth of your life after one fight with a man? Ok girl 🙄

How tf does this girl get so many hockey players obsessed with her?? She lowkey ain’t even that cool

What is this feminist/gender neutral through line? I thought this was horror. So far it’s just a bad retelling of Fall of the House of Usher

Uh oh. This is really bad so far

I’m really relating to this main character and not in a good way. I was just thinking that she keeps looking for reassurances without taking any accountability that her actions caused the consequences that she is dealing with. Oops 😬 maybe a little too on the nose. Also the way she avoids any intimacy because of her poor self-worth? OUCH
