Damn, the whole of Part Four in one day. My favourite part by far so far (although that’s probably only natural). Chapters four and five specifically are brazy, particularly chapter four. I will need to revisit that one specifically in completion. I will also need to read the Bible at some point. Lol.

They’re calling it the most boring capital city on earth. Still in Vientiane, nothing to do but drink and read. And boy have I drank and read. Spoke to some friends tonight. Apparently Chelsea lost last night. I wouldn’t know.

Read outside my hostel in Vientiane. Kind of awesome that I can use these page updates the same way I use Letterboxd.

I would’ve liked to read more but I’m currently on a sleeper bus to Laos and the lights turned off at half 9 and I felt like a twat with my little reading torch bothering everybody. The translation is very direct so we’ll see how it fares over the course of 500 pages, but so far it’s much easier to read than I thought it would be.
