The more I read this memoir, the sadder it makes me feel of her inevitable fate. Such a sweet, talented gal that was raised in the spotlight, had the support poured into her, and somehow tried to navigate adulthood on her own…

I started reading this book since it is a part Noah’s english curriculum. Orwell’s book is an allegory where there are talking animals living on a farm. Fed up with their lives at the hands of Mr Jones, they come together to rebel against the farm owner. After the overthrow, they begin to take an equal stance on their livelihood going forward, but not before putting commandments in place…

The intro is captivating. But a few chapters in seems a bit superficial but giving it a chance as it is a memoir…
