It’s kinda bad idk

I get that he’s a teenage boy but the matter-of-fact way in which the author writes Quentin’s thoughts is truly killing me. “He caught himself staring bleakly at the radiant upper slopes of her achingly full and gropable breasts” I have a grenade in my pocket

The premise is fun enough but I do not like this Quentin guy.

I’m growing weary

The writing is vivid and affecting so far, if a bit repetitive. Eager to continue

I’m having a good and fun time reading this however I wouldn’t say it’s especially good at least not in the way the original trilogy was. I haven’t read tbosas but from what I’ve heard, the movie adaptation suffers because we don’t get to hear snow’s narration. In my opinion the movie adaptation of this one will likely be better for lack of haymitch’s narration 🤷‍♀️ sorry…
