Se la psicologa cede ai ricatti morali di 'sti pazzi, io veramente rimango disgustata. Questo romanzo è un ammasso di poliziotti-criminali.

Gli serve davvero della terapia, ma di sicuro non per quello che ha fatto a lavoro.
Un protagonista matto in culo che perseguita l'ex moglie non mi sembra il tipo di poliziotto che vorrei come collega o, in generale, per le strade a risolvere crimini. Un romanzo figlio dei suoi tempi, suppongo. Spero che andando avanti nella saga ci siano miglioramenti positivi e un po' meno stereotipi da serie tv poliziesca.

Are they really accusing the protagonist just because she has red hair like the woman seen with the victim? York has a population of 210,618, and she's supposed to be the only one with red hair? What...

Why the hell did the whole feminism thing have to be brought up when the policeman simply told her, "This attitude isn't helping you"?
I mean, you're under investigation for murder and you keep attacking authority, so obviously he's telling you it's making your situation worse.
"How did you expect me to react? With a smile on my face? That's how the world thinks women should react to everything, right?"
WHAT???

I don't understand why, in these kinds of stories, people allow themselves to be questioned by strangers without saying, "I'll only talk to the police!"
