Fast paced, frantic, easy read with probably too much snark.
The lead character is decently developed and fits all the archetype check box for this genre - obsessive, socially awkward, hyper focused, with cut-out figure wife and foster children.
Eat your heart out Jo Nesbo, if you think Harry Hole losing a finger was specially, the lead character here is missing an eye, arm and leg.
Worth a read!
