Whoa, too rough. I picked up Creole Belle a few months ago and was so impressed with Burke's writing I couldn't wait for the next installment. I am listening to the book read by Will Patton, who is an excellent reader. Light of the World senselessly violent and while I am not often offended by graphic dialogue, I find myself wincing and squeezing my eyes shut, not great while driving. I may have to ditch this one.
